Project Management Training

Et Cetera Group offers an expansive selection of Project Management Training Courses. We offer courses covering basic concepts of project management as well as courses intended to explore the depths of a given project management topic. All of our project management course instructors are certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as Project Management Professionals (PMP). In addition, every instructor is a practicing project management consultant in the field and brings their real life examples and situations to the classroom. Given the practical experience or our instructors, they have an uncanny ability to examine your project issues and concerns and can guide you in the classroom on methods to effectively resolve your predicament.

All of our courses are designed with the adult learner in mind. We know you need an anchor to establish and maintain an interest in our courses. We provide that anchor by creating hands-on exercises that are tailored for each class to meet your specific needs based on the projects that you are currently managing. We don’t use case studies from years gone by that are of no value to you. We use your projects, your data, and your issues. The following graphic illustrates the relationship of general management, project management theory, and your application or functional area.

Our courses are structured with a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises to reinforce the learning concept. Since we have the ability to integrate your own project situations into our exercises, the end result of the exercise is transportable back to your work environment for continued refinement and immediate use. You can’t do that with an old case study.

We Come to You!
All of our courses are designed to come to you at your organization. That also allows us to tailor our courses for your organization and the manner in which you conduct your business. Sounds expensive? It’s actually much cheaper and more cost effective.

The cost of a typical course for one student at your local university or college extension is about $600 per person plus course materials. Other single-day courses provided by major project management learning providers can cost upwards of $1600 for a single day of training, plus travel expenses. When there are 20 students in a room from 20 different organizations, customizing the training to “fit” your organization is simply not possible.

Et Cetera Group can “custom train” up to 20 people in your organization for approximately $400 per student which includes all course material. For specific price quotes, call or email your inquiry.
